Well, this took muuuuch longer than I had anticipated to put up, I apologize. I put up a poll on facebook to see what images YOU all wanted today…and the smokey mtns in TN was the highest vote:) But between starbucks with the fam and driving around to see christmas lights annnnnd watching the brilliant “Muppets Christmas Carol” I am quite behind in getting these up for today…err yesterday now.
This is from a trip I took with my family at the beginning of November. We went to Townsend, TN and stayed in an amazing cabin. It was basically one of my favorite vacations I’ve ever had…seriously. I want to put up some images of the family at some point but for tonight I decided to just stick with the theme of TN and where we were.
I hope you enjoy and also there are a couple images of an old church….can anyone guess what it’s from?????
Have a wonderful night and thanks again for participating in “YOU PICK DAY”…maybe I’ll have this come around again. ha
ok..going to bed now……………………..

As you can see I’m a little behind in putting up some pictures from around Thanksgiving, but I had so much fun shooting these images. My sister, and I were hanging out together and she was going to make my grandparents’ recipe, “Apple Crisp Pie” and I wanted to capture it. I love details and I LOVE shooting them!! So I thought I would have a little fun getting some images of the process. I can’t even tell you how amazing this pie smelled when we got it out of the oven. Thank you to Mom and Pop for such an amazing recipe, for my sweet sister and her baking skills and for apple crisp pie:) ha Wish I could give you all a slice..but that pie was inhaled by family and friends…next time

On this chilly evening in December, with Christmas lights glowing, candles lit, the smell of fresh pine, nativities, decorations in every nook and cranny possible, red Christmas oreos in the kitchen….I just love this time of year!!! So many memories, so many things to be thankful for! However, on this special evening, I am bringing some warmth of the fall back to your mind. I took these back on November in my front yard. I LOVE color, and these were a couple of my favorites. Hope they bring you some warmth and cheer as you remember the beautiful fall we were blessed with this year!

Here is a combination of some recent shoots I have done-these clients were in need of some headshots for their website. I really enjoyed using my new light kit and getting to shoot these images. I got their early, had time to set up and the shoot went great. And maybe even the Miles Davis station on Pandora was playing in the background, it’s possible. Come get some headshots with me and you’ll find out what music is selected next.
Here are a few examples

Drumroll……Italy!!!! I had the amazing pleasure, when I was in high school, to go to Italy for a week and it was phenomenal! I will definitely be going back…at some point in my life.
Hopefully sooner, rather than later. However, between all the spaghetti, pizza and gelato, somehow I never tried their chocolate. Wow, did I miss something!!! My great uncle brought some chocolate back from Italy for my family recently and warned us of how very different it is than American chocolate. He was correct, but it was nothing like I expected. I almost liked it better. It has a sweetness, but is 50% cocoa, so you can actually taste the cocoa instead of just all the sugar. Hard to explain, but if I ever go to Italy again, I am definitely bringing some back…to whoever follows this blog
Anyway, I absolutely loved the boxes. The design and look is very unique, so I thought I would have fun and take some pictures tonight. I used my new alien bee lights, which I love! So, getting back into doing some more studio shoots, and brushing up on that area of my shooting.
Hope you enjoy them…cause I mean honestly…what is better than Italy and chocolate?? Can’t think of anything?? Nope, neither can I

Where do I begin with this post? Cullen, oh my sweet little BC-as I often call him. He was adopted into our family (my sister’s and brother in law’s, back in April). It has been one of the most amazing experiences I have ever had! He is such a joy and makes me smile every time I see him. He is almost 5 months old, and I did these pictures almost a month ago-he is growing up so fast! He loves to laugh and smile. He has started sucking his thumb, and he rubs his feet together till they’re practically raw, especially when he gets excited about something. It’s adorable! The sounds he makes when he is happy or laughing is priceless. He loves books, and his stuffed animals.
He has blessed my family incredibly and I love him more and more everyday! I can’t wait for the days, the years, the memories and pictures ahead with him!
I love you BC!!!
